I need help moving my Windows 7 to my new SSD I have just installed from my Hard Drive.

I haven't got a clue, read a little about it and all seems dodgy to me, I don't fancy losing all my files!

Use that it has HDD cloning tools, used it myself to do the same job.

Just download it and burn to a cd/dvd and have it in the drive when the PC is starting up and it will boot to the CD.

Yes it is possible, but i would want to have a brand spanking new OS on a brand spanking new drive, seems kinda logical don't you think.

What happens to all my files and games? I only want my OS to go onto my SSD and maybe a couple of games... But I have sorted the games out

There is software that enables you to clone HDD's but i dont think there is software that allows you to only copy just the OS, from my point of view when i upgraded to my new SSD's i wiped everything and had a clean install and just made backups onto a portable drive of anything important i wanted to keep that way i knew it was nice and fresh

Yeah I get what you're saying there, I was just wondering for another way around as I don't have a portable drive for 300gb of games/documents... Thank's though
