Hey I have had a Elgato since August. I spent all my birthday money for it. But I have a crapy laptop. When I have it hooked up the display will be 10 minutes behind my tv some times, but that doesn't bother me it's when ever I go to record sometimes my video is really bugy and just the pixels are all over the place. I have tried a lot of things to try to fix it so if someone can put any thing in the comments and if I haven't tried I'll try. Thank you
PS: my laptop has 4gb of ram

What are all your laptops specs? Tell me and I will compare them to the minimum of the Elgato.

i had a problem with the elgato software before, but i got usb 2.0 put in and now it works perfectly.

Also, my computer specs are:

4 GB RAM
Dual Core Processor (Not sure what it is exactly cause im currently not on that computer ^^)
2.0 USB Ports
1.5 TB Hard-drive space

Anything else?

Thanks.

Its your processor speed.
Elgato Minimum:
Mac: OS X 10.7 or newer, 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU
PC: Windows 7 or newer, 2.0 GHz dual core CPU, sound card
4 GB RAM, built-in USB 2.0 port

Yours:
Raiting:3.5
Processor: AMD E1 - 1200 API with Radeon(tm)
HD graphics 1.40 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 4.00GB(3.57 usable)
System type: 64-bit operating system, x64 based
Processor.

You need a minimum of 2GHz.
