I have friends who smoke cigarettes and it pisses me off. The smell is horrible and it gives you lung cancer.

TOTALY agree with you dude, I have somewhat of the same problems at my school.

Essentially, paying for ciggies is burning money, but if you literally burn money, you're not harming your body (unless you're thick and burn yourself)

I cigarettes they are nasty, and they also have to be the biggest turn off for me. All they do is make you smell and give you cancer. But marijuana i do not care if people smoke it.

I feel that smoking is terrible. Your just destroying yourself.

Once they are in need of a new pair of lungs and you are sitting there living and they are dead, they will think they are cool.

Obviously losing legs and having breathing difficulties in later life does not bother them.

I used to smoke but have now stopped (1 year smoke free in December) and I am glad I did because what I coughed up from my lungs was disgusting and if I smoked for say a few years longer I could have had serious problems.

I have seen some of my friends collapse in a heap due to lack of breath and generally being severely unfit.

Smoking whilst others are eating is just down right rude and plus you are risking others through passive smoking and you are well within your rights to ask them to stop.

Moving away from them seems to be your best bet though because it seems that they are arrogant and really could not care less who they are annoying.

I do not hate smokers because I used to be one but now I see smoking as disgusting and also from a completely different perspective.

I hope you can sort this out but tbh mate your best bet is to avoid them the best you can and save your own lungs.

I used to smoke as well. I quit because I hated it and I thought I shouldn't ruin my health at a young age. Now that im not smoking its so much better, plus you don't waste your money on a useless thing that ruins your life/health.
