Lol makes me kinda laugh now, I live down south in Herefordshire and was cleaning out the cellar when a spider dropped on my arm and bit me, i thought it was odd because i've never been bitten by a spider before. After it bit me i flicked it off and killed it ( which i normally never do but IT BIT ME!. Anyway i noticed it had a white almost face like marking on it's back as to which i know now is one of there markings. Anyway my arm did swell a little bit and did hurt a lot but nothing other then that happened, so i don't see what the fuss is all about. Yes you might die if you get an allergic reaction but then you do if you get stung by a bee :S. Do people realise there are 10-14 poisonousness spiders in the uk? some of which can give a allergic reaction or cause death and yet we've lived near them for a long time. So yeah i wouldn't worry about it.

That sucks man, Atleast you didn't have a anaphylaxtic (serious) reaction to that spider. Glad there aren't spiders like that in Canada!

it's hilarious that this is posted in breaking news..

i've lived in the midlands for 18 years and all of a sudden everyone's going on a mad one about this new species.. apparently my mate's went to open his gate to get his car out and there were tons of them on his gate.. pretty grim if there starts to be loads of them, do not like spiders at all haha..
