Soul Caliber on the PS2 used to scare me really bad when I was 5, when my older brother used to ask me to play it with him.

You play as a reporter investigating an abandoned asylum, and of course stuff goes south and you get stuck in there. You are defenseless and have to avoid getting killed by whatever is in there by running away and hiding if they chase you. I don't want to give it all away but it's a great game definitely worth $20 on steam.
