This is somewhat different but linked in a way to your issue. If I make a new character in character slot 2 - as my lost character is slot 1 - will I have the ability to call in merryweather support, call Lester for putting bounties on people, buy the pump shotgun etc. or not? I lost a level 20 character last night and want to hope it comes back as I had 14 hours play time and over $400K worth of stuff :/

That is what I don't know. I know your money carries over, well at least if it's in the bank but I don't think your stuff for that character does. This really is bullsh*t, it's happened to me and most of my friends.

That is what I don't know. I know your money carries over, well at least if it's in the bank but I don't think your stuff for that character does. This really is bullsh*t, it's happened to me and most of my friends.

Same here, I only had around $30K in my bank but when I go on character select it says $8K. Load of shit IMO, I think I am going to make a new character and just do races until I hit level 15 then do Violent Duct with a friend for a few hours. I know my situation isn't as bad as yours because you lost around 30 ranks and I lost a Rank 20 character. Sucks either way to be honest, I just want to be able to get up to a high ass level, I was aiming for 100 in 2 weeks but at this rate that will never happen. At least you can do Base Invader to get some money back.

Yea, well my one friend it happened to he got to rank 54 over night because I got the mission Mixed up with Coke or whatever it is that gave 3k xp and $18,000 and we did it in like a minute every time. And my character is gone now too.. Oh well I guess, I was going to get 100 by Tuesday. But I guess not now.

Some of my friends who got to level 5 and what not have there characters, it looks like the people who have played more have suffered from the server issues. If you are on Xbox and want to grind like hell later tonight I would ask you to add me. Just thought I'd ask if you wanted to seeing as not many people are currently starting from scratch and it would mean we could just do races until 15 or something, Violent Duct 30 second method until 27 (or until one of us leaves or something) and then just continue until around rank 40.

Only an idea of course, I mean it would take absolutely ages to do, probably around 18 hours or so to get to 40 from just replaying missions and shit.

If you aren't up for that - it sounds pretty grueling to be fair - do you have anybody on your friends list who can help in ranking you up and possibly me if they are oh so kind? I am sure it is possible to get rank 100 in the next 7 days but only through playing 16 hours a day and grinding like hell.

Ones that I play with got off and have work, they just stay up late. It's usually just me and my one friend grinding it out constantly and this other guy came along. All 3 of us would be around rank 90 or so by now if this sh*t didn't happen to us. I'm done until R* fixes this sh*t. More and more people are getting reset so I don't find a point. We wanted to be the first max ranks but the server problems and all held us back and plus we got lives, just been wasting time on this game.
