If your an avid player than yeah it is but if not then I would just wait for the next-gen version. That's if you're getting a next-gen console.

Depends on if you will play it a lot. I personally only bought for mut, but ive been doing a lot of h2h and franchise mode.

I like Madden because I'm a big follower of the NFL in general. I spend countless hours playing as different teams and vice versa to get the most of the game.

If you're a fan of one certain team and you don't know much about the NFL, you probably will get bored easily. It's not fun if you don't know much cause you'll use a QB that is bad or have bad receivers and they drop everything and it gets annoying.
