Do you need the OS included or not? You can't really compare these because one has Windows 7 included. Is this primarily for gaming?

In that case, you're looking at two completely different budgets. The first will give you a lot better bang for your buck in games because both builds have the same graphics card, but you can spend your money better regardless.

I know that some people may say this is bad, but keep in mind you can always pirate windows so you can spend the money elsewhere. Also with my experience and people I have talked to AMD don't make the best processors but they make decent GPU's even if there support can be wonky at times.

AMD doesn't make wonky CPUs or GPUs. Fanboys will be fanboys and they'll slander brands they don't like. It goes both ways and just as many will tell you that Intel CPUs are the same way and it's in your best interest to ignore all of them. But yes, the other ways of getting Windows can save you a ton of money, but shouldn't be discussed on TTG.
