My xbox is a new xbox and has no problem reading any discs. I got gta v a few minutes ago and installed disc 1. It said to put in disc 2 and play, so i did. Then it says its unreadable and to clean it?! The game is spotless! I even tried with my brothers disc (because he bought a copy too) and the same thing happened. So I know it isnt the disc, or xbox, so wtf is the problem?

Step 2) Take game out
Step 3) (Very sophisticated) Put game back in

-is your xbox vertical or horizontal? if vertical, then try it horizontal.
-try clearing your xbox's cache. It may help clear out any disc reading problems.

I thought of that and flipped it from vertical to horizontal. Still nothing, I will try clearing my cache and get back to you.

hmm try and see if it is happening to other games, make sure it isn't just on your account. maybe the instilattion of disc 1 got corrupt and needs to be reinstalled..

I'm pretty sure your xbox is having problems reading past the security on the disc. You should just keep closing and opening the disc tray, it'll eventually work.

I would say so too, but my brother is in the other room with the exact same problem.
