No offense to all of you above, But how do you know that he knows nothing? He might already know a bit about JTAGs and shiz, But just asking for an opinion? Ya never know, so you might wanna just tell him what you think the best would be instead of hate.

Have you learned that you just stated the reason this community is so bad? I go into a topic, It can be any topic and I see hate. It is annoying, like seriously people need to help eachother, If you're going to hate don't post in the first place.

I think you should get a slim RGH its a very slim chance of RRoD or other jtag problems and if you get one from a good guy the boot time can be really good mine is 10-30 seconds and the longest was like 1 minute the shortest was faster than my retail.

Tbh, Boot time has nothing to do with how the console is. Also, You said that a JTAG has the best boot times, My RGH has a pretty good boot time.. Just saying ;)

I never said boot time has anything to do with how good it is I just said whatever one you choose make sure you pick a jtag because he problem wouldn't want to mess with boot times. Jtags have almost insta boot if not than it is the person you paid to jtag it's bad soldering job more than likely but I have a corona right and they are know for long boots

Truthfully JTAG or RGH has nothing to do with boot times i have an R-JTAG with anywhere from 5 seconds to 5 minute boots (usually on the higher side) and some RGH consoles boot instantly.

My dual nand had such a good boot time till i.relised i.was on retail nand now its 3-15 secs still not bad haha
