Also in the video he mentioned blue eyes, To be honest the chances of him being Richthofen is quite high BUT maybe the story doesn't have to make sense, since it's only a game!

I'm not going to touch the "uneducated and ignorant" comment because that was just out of place, but as for the fact of the voice acting, even if you want to take away that dialects change, the fact that Maxis and Richtofen spoke flawless English with no hints of an authentic German accent disproves your idea that it is not Richtofen as the boy. If it is him, it'd be a perfect match for a story. Whether he is or not, it's still regardless a damn good ending in my opinion.

As for whether it's the beginning or the end, people seem to overlook the fact that zombies is a time loop. You can plot each map on a grid like a clock and you cannot distinguish 100% where the start is because it is a never ending cycle. The only exceptions to that are Shangri-La (either far in the past or 787 years in the future) and Ascension (which has characteristics in it of itself that hint that it is in it's own continuum). One can argue that this is the start of the very beginning zombies, dating back to WWI, but one can also argue that it is the end of the story Samantha is telling. But what we can't leave out of the picture is how they actually intertwine so that the continuous loop theory is the actual answer.
