I'll start by explaining bitcoins very briefly, they are an online currency, they are fast and with little transaction fees if any, but the catch is there isn't really anything solid backing them so they are very unstable and now i'll provide some methods of earning bitcoins. There are many ways of earning bit coins, Before trying any of them you will need a Bit Coin wallet. I use multibit due to the simplicity of it, you can download it here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Method 1:Mining
Once you have your bitcoin wallet there are multiple ways of earning bitcoins, The most common one is mining them simply because it provides the fastest money if you have the required equipment to mine. There are many mining groups called pools, if you join a pool you mine with a larger group and are rewarded based on your contribution. While mining is the fastest, many can't do it because of the amount it would cost to start or to mine and actually profit. I do not mine so i can't really explain everything about it and i'm not going to try to so if you want a more detailed guide you can easily find one on google.

Method 2: Bitcoin Faucets
This is the method i started out doing, it is very simple and can be done by anyone and requires nothing but any household computer and a wallet, Bitcoin faucets are websites that give out free bitcoins to anyone who views it and enters a captcha which sounds a bit too good to be true but they make money off the ads you view and thats how they are able to give out bitcoins, some require you to take off adblock for that reason. they don't reward much but it is the easiest method of getting your first bitcoins there are many sites that you can go to by clicking on links or there are websites that can send you through a list of faucets the two i use are coinreaper.com and bitcoincollector.net
they are very simple so i'm not going to go into detail, there are more faucets than those the sites give you though, there are even one time faucets that offer bigger rewards. These faucets all have time limits in between claiming bitcoins on their sites hence you go to different sites but there are ways around that, if you use TOR an anonymous browser you can select to use a new identity and the website will let you claim repetitively, if you can claim a site every 10 seconds for an hour you'll make 11 cents which isn't very good but thats a way of earning them that is good if you just want to see what the bitcoin things about

Method 3:PTC
(Paid-To-Click) websites that pay you in Bitcoins. These are very simple, you just click on people paying to advertise their site and you receive an amount that is very dependent on the site and how long they want you to view it, it is much faster than faucets but there is a limit to the amount of ads that are available daily to you. As of this moment i know of no way around it, The website i use for PTC earnings is [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Method 4:Monetize your content, similar to ad.fly but it pays you in bitcoins, Basically you give it links and it will shorten them and pay you for any traffic going through that link. Really self explanatory but it isn't a method i can vitalize because i don't have an audience to use my links, or a big enough audience for it to be worth it atleast i only recommend this to people with an audience of some sorts, maybe a business or youtuber but it is kind of annoying to the people who have to use the links.
That is all of the current methods i know and if i discover any better methods or techniques with these methods i'll make sure to update this topic.
