Does it really matter if your xbox is laying down or standing up? Because lately my xbox elite the tray doesn't wanna open (it has a mind of it's own). Does anybody know?

I don't think It matters. Just as long as the vent isn't facing downwards

if it's standing up and falls it would brake your disk, and you cannot fix it, so be careful when your standing it up

I don't think it matter, though I always have mine laying down, afraid that the disc will fall or something, even though I know it wont happen, haha.

My vent is facing the wall kinda so the wall kinda get's hot at times. Do you think that's what affected it to do start doing this or no?

Don't know if it's true but either way it doesn't really matter .

I don't think it matters too much. Though, I think Xbox did say (years ago) that they recommend using it standing up rather than horizontally.
