Try searching for a legendary walkthrough on youtube.

The only threat is Knights and Elites. Grunts, Jackels and Crawlers you should be able to one shot with a BR/DMR/Light rifle.

Slow and steady wins the race, focus.

There are guides on youtube to complete the game on legendary with all the skulls on. cba to post a link though ;)

I found it way too easy. All you have to do is conserve ammunition and take it slow.

I had trouble, but I was used to going fast on easier difficulties, just try to go slow and take your time with it.

cant really give you advice if i still had it id help you because i beat it on laso just avoid getting shot and try to hide until you regerate your shield and try for headshots and assassinations that makes it easier oh and lots of plasma grenades also

Dogs, watchers, grunts, and jackals should be easy enough to handle. Knights on the other hand are like tanks.

Best way to kill a Knight is assassination. Here's a trick I figured while messing around with them.

Kill all the small and annoying guys first. Watchers, dogs, etc. Lure the Knights out so you face them 1 by 1. Walk up to meleeing range and don't hit them or shoot them. They will instinctively try to melee you.

Most of the time their melee will be a right handed swing from top down. When they are meleeing they can't stop midway. So when you see his right hand raise. Move your body to the left of him(the side of the arm that went up) then look at him from the side.

Right now he should have just finished the swing and you should be looking at his right shoulder and his arm just completed the swing at where you were standing. He is still stuck in animation. Proceed to getting behind his back and assassinate.

This trick takes a couple times to master, but is very fun to just assassinate over and over. You will get shot while approaching the knights. Don't worry you have a shield.

Best if done in 1 vs 1 situations. If a teammate is shooting from a far while you are trying to do this trick he will back away from you while shooting your teammate.

Haven't tried this trick on elites, but their animation is closely related so it should work as well.

*NOTICE* If up against a Knight with an incinerator cannon, ignore all previous lessons. Stay at a safe distance and shoot him. You can assassinate him, but you must get close to him faster than you would need to against other knights.
