i am not sure how many of you guys are playthegamers but if so this is not new to you but if it is ....... All credit goes to a man names nicholas vladd on playthegame forums!

This contains ALOT OF INFO about DLC 4

We know the map is going to be set in a village in France World War 1 era. It will be the biggest and most ambitious map in Call of Duty Zombies history - even bigger than TranZit! Treyarch will end the Black Ops series with a big bang, and this time it will not be made by the Zombies team, but it will be made by the Single Player team - they were the ones who made Mob of the Dead. The map will be called Le Tombeau, the keyword is Tomb.

Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

A "Tomb of the Unknown Soldier" refers to a monument in dedication to the services of an unidentified soldier and to the common memories of all soldiers killed in any war. Such tombs can be found in many nations and are usually high-profile national monuments. Throughout history, many soldiers have died in wars without their remains being identified. Following the First World War, a movement arose to commemorate these soldiers with a single tomb, containing the body of one such unidentified soldier.

The tombs typically contain the remains of a dead soldier who is unidentified (or "known but to God" as the stone is sometimes inscribed) and thought to be impossible ever to identify, so that he might serve as a symbol for all of the unknown dead wherever they fell. The anonymity of the entombed soldier is key to the symbolism of the monument: since his identity is unknown, it could theoretically be the tomb of anyone who fell in service of the nation in question, and therefore serves as a monument to all of their sacrifices. Much work goes into trying to find a certain soldier, and to verify that it is indeed one of the relevant nation's soldiers.

In France "La tombe du soldat inconnu" was placed in the "Arc de Triomphe".

The map will not be set around "Arc de Triomphe", however it may be symbolic and relate to the story, and we might find some elements of it which would tell us the importance of this tomb.

The question is, why would this be related in the new map? Who else could be laying in this tomb? The result may be an introduction to a new character in the Zombies Storyline...
-----

Chapter 2: The Setting

The map will be set in a village, similar to the one in TranZit, but bigger and better. The structure of the map will be varied, it will consist of...

...trenches, open fields, forests, farms, shops, a village, a cemetery, and a small town...

This is a list of French villages destroyed during World War 1:

Beaumont-en-Verdunois
Bezonvaux
Cumires-le-Mort-Homme
Douaumont (partially reconstructed)
Haumont-prs-Samogneux
Louvemont-Cte-du-Poivre
Ornes (partially reconstructed)
Vaux-devant-Damloup (rebuilt)
Fleury-devant-Douaumont, location of the Verdun Memorial
Verdun
The one village which caught my attention was Verdun, due to its history and back story. Let's look at the Mob of the Dead loading screen... [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

With all the loading screens, there is always a hint to the next map. However, Mob of the Dead was made by the Single player team, and Die Rise was made by the Zombie team. There was a hint in the Die Rise loading screen that didn't relate to Mob of the Dead at all. Mob of the Dead loading screen will be hinting to the next Single player team which will be the last map, because Die Rise was hinting to the map Buried which was made by the Zombie team...

...can you see the pattern?

If you look on the right hand side you can see 2 sets of codes. There's the string of letters on the right hand side, and there is the grid on the bottom right hand corner. The string of letters spell out "Der Riese is in France" and the other code spells out "Mob of the Dead". The most important code is "Der Riese is in France". Please keep in mind, that this doesn't mean that the facility is literally in France, but maybe "The Giant is in France".

So as you can see on the right hand side, there is a newspaper with the headline Wall Street In Panic As Stocks Crash and there is also the date "October 17th 1917". The strange thing is... there doesn't appear to be a Wall Street Crash in 1917. Why is there a newspaper dated 1917, as the catastrophic collapse of the Wall Street Crash didn't occur until the late 20s. I believe the headline is just trying to mislead us, the date is key.

During October 17th 1917 the first World War was going on...

This is an article from October 17th 1917:

During that time, one event that occurred was the invasion in Verdun (a little town located in France). Verdun had trenches and the German troops had invaded them.

The Battle of Verdun

The Battle of Verdun was one of the major battles during the First World War on the Western Front. It was fought between theGerman and French armies, from 21 February to 18 December 1916, on hilly terrain north of the city of Verdun-sur-Meuse in north-eastern France. It ended with a French tactical victory since, by December 1916, they had recaptured most of the lost ground including the centerpiece of Verdun's defensive system: Fort Douaumont.

According to contemporary estimates, Verdun resulted in 714,231 casualties, 377,231 on the French side and 337,000 on the German one, an average of 70,000 casualties for each of the ten months of the battle.[5] It was the longest and one of the most devastating battles in the First World War and the history of warfare. Modern estimates increase the number of casualties to 976,000. In any case most of these casualties had been inflicted upon both sides by artillery rather than by small arms fire.

Douaumont Ossuary (Cemetery)

The Douaumont ossuary (French: L'ossuaire de Douaumont) is a memorial containing the remains of soldiers who died on the battlefield during the Battle of Verdun in World War I. It is located in Douaumont, France, within the Verdun battlefield. It has been designated a "ncropole nationale", or "national cemetery".

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

During the 300 days of the Battle of Verdun (21 February 1916 19 December 1916) approximately 230,000 men died out of a total of 700,000 casualties (dead, wounded and missing). The battle became known in German as Die Hlle von Verdun (English: The Hell of Verdun).

There are many memorials in Verdun, so it is possible the map might be plural "Le Tombeaux"

This is a list of World War 1 memorials and cemeteries in Verdun:

Fort Douaumont
Fort Souville
Fort Vaux
The Douaumont Ossuary
The Soldat Du Droit
The monument at Mort Homme and that to the 40th French Infantry
Memorial to Moslem soldiers
Memorial to 137th Regiment of Infantry/The Bayonet Trench
The Memorial remembering Fleury. The village that died for France
Mmorial de Verdun. The Verdun museum
The wall of the Israelites at Fleury-devant-Douaumont
The chapel of Saint-Nicolas at Fleury-devant-Douaumont
Memorial to the men who maintained the Voie Sacre at Moulin-Brl
The Memorial to Andr Maginot
Verdun Cathedral
Memorial to the men of the 130th Division at Douaumont. "The wounded lion"
Monument to the sons of Verdun
Monument to the victory at Verdun
Le pre Barnab at Samogneux
Documents at the National Archives in Kew
"They shall not pass"
All of these Tombs are quite important and significant, so it is very hard to choose which one would be the main focus of the map. We might be able to encounter all of these memorials, they would be scattered around the map...

This is how the village would have looked like before the war...

Chapter 3: Trench Warfare

The whole map will be buried with trenches, because of the battle that happened in Verdun.

"At the end of the day, I don't want to be left in the middle of a field, in the muddy kind of wood, especially in the trenches..." ~ Benn - Omnia Ambientis' Easter Egg (Part 4)

The trenches would be used to maneuver around the map. There might be some underground shortcuts to where ever you want to go.

It is also possible we may have a No Man's Land in the distance, and you would be able to see Zombies crawling out of the soil.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Imagine a horde of the Undead running towards you, and you have to defend the trenches, almost like holding of a stronghold.

Chapter 4: Der Riese is in France, The Giant is in France

What does this phrase mean? Der Riese translated is The Giant. To confirm, the Der Riese facility will NOT be in France. The keyword is Giant.

"I'm just left there, because of some big guy, who thinks he is stronger than me..." ~ Benn - Omnia Ambientis' Easter Egg (Part 4)

This indicates that we'll be fighting of something big and strong. We now know that this Giant will be mechanical, and a machine.

In this video, Benn is talking about the meaning behind this cryptic phrase...

This is where The Giant was built... right here, where that big machine Benn is pointing at with his gun.

This is what Benn is emphasizing in the video...

Benn mentions that something else was built in Der Riese... that something "stood" there, and you were able to teleport inside of it...

The Giants Initial Creation...

Group 935 has been tasked with the creation of a new type of soldier, which should be in all aspects the superior to inferior races. The Perks have been stated to be the inventions of Faraday, liquids that alter the cells to cause several effects on the human body. I believe 935 took these perks, as a basis of organic super-soldier's. Faraday of course had no reason to believe his Perks did not permanently alter his test subjects, unlike 935, he would not kill his subjects. For as you know, bleed out causes the dispersal of all Perk Effects, the loss of blood "leaks" out tampered cells, and since they do not effect the brain, it simply sends signals to re-create normal cells that replace Perk-addled ones.

So the next step for 935 is to program a brain to send the appropriate signals to make more cells like the Perk ones. Unfortunately 935 was created somewhat late into the war, and by this time Josef Mengele, the only Axis allied apex of Nazi gene science is stationed, or abandoning Auschwitz, crippling 935's attempts. Thus begins the two separate programs: Richtofen is placed as head of organic attempts to manufacture a new race, while Maxis starts an automaton project, intending to make the Nazi Super-soldier a being of metal and cogs. At a disadvantage, Richtofen is forced, unlike Maxis, to resort to what he considers an unfit method of neuroscience: the Russian method of conditioning. Aided only by hallucinogenics and other mind-tampering drugs he tests on several subjects with varying results, including the death of one by his hand (3 "successes" are made, one Russian, Japanese, and a captured American). By this point Maxis must search for an adequate power source for his automaton at Der Reise, and almost conveniently a meteoric event has occurred bringing with it an irradiated ore dubbed 115, sending several associates he has the 115 refined for use, at the makeshift base of Shi No Numa. All personel who come into contact for the meteor's refinement have been infected, but it is in latent form. Using the new 115, Maxis' team constructs the Die Glocke, made specifically to gauge the element's power levels. Expecting the happy whirr of success, Maxis' team witness 115's true power as the Die Glocke rumbles and lifts above the ground, practically overflowing with power. Die Glocke ensures that the inhabitants of Der Reise are now infected, although the lack of continual exposure reduces it's effects.

Because of Die Glocke's resounding success, Richtofen is taken off his organic project, and made to construct weapons to fit the Automaton, but is not given info on what he is making the weapons for. By this time the paranoia/other effects cause an altercation between men at the Shi No Numa facility, resulting in the death of persons. "Patient Zero" is born, causing the inevitable downfall of Shi No Numa to undead. 935 takes several of the undead believing it to merely be either a mental effect or disease contracted and spread throughout Shi No Numa, and places them in Verruckt for study. After several tests, and the overrun of Verruckt 935 finds that the 115 re-animated the dead. Now aware of this secondary effect, 935 deliberately creates several undead to test as a new organic super-soldier's. Autamaton construction preceeds as usual.

Meanwhile Richtofen has finished construction of his first 115 weapon the Wunderwaffe, infection has reached Edward. Now thanks to the nature of the Autamaton an electrical weapon is deemed unfit, due to the danger of malfunction and destruction of Automaton Alpha. Richtopfen is not only told his weapon is a failure with no reason, but is also barred from resuming as head of the organic super-soldier program with the discovery of the undead. Told to go back to making more fit inventions, Richtofen starts his teleportation tests, the 115 weaponry project is given to a Dr. Porter. Due to his demotion in rank, Edward's initial instability is only increased by 115 effects.

After Die Glocke's radiation infection of Der Reise's, the entity behind 115's landing at earth finds a suitable host in the vulnerable Samantha, as she arrives at the facility.

At this time The Giant, Super-Soldier Alpha has completed construction, and simultaneously Richtofen has perfected his originally mocked teleportation system. Upon the absence of Richtofen, Maxis re-purposes the teleporter array to transfer Alpha Giant to an audience at Kino, showing off his construction, and also both the teleporter's and as a plus the undead, caged, along with several Nova 6 undead, created due to Maxis' using the gas to cultivate a larger group of 115 test subjects, unaware the 6 would interrupt the re-animation process. Once the audience is ready, Alpha is activated in order to show it's capabilities. Unbeknownst to him, the automaton does not have sufficient shielding and infects the crowd. Once an infected breaks loose, Maxis and company leave the show to ensure Alpha's survival, leaving none who can operate the teleporter, dooming the audience. Because of it's mass the Giant is teleported (still active), and as you know it flits through several areas, most notably: Samantha's Room, where the Giant temporarily looms over her causing a full connection between her and The Darkness to be formed, an even which of course is by no means a accident. Maxis and team follow soon after. Despite the Kino failure, Maxis, without order, sends his Giant into France at the Front Lines of WW1 a massive misuse of the spacial/time powers of the teleporter, to prove it is the success he made it out to be.

Richtofen then returns from his excursion thanks to his non-linked teleporter. Maxis seeking not to enrage the doctor, pretends they have only just improved the teleporters, not knowing Richtofen had also been at Kino momentarily and told of events by his own allies. Richtofen after his visits at Griffin Station to Shangri-la only connects half the dots to each place, knowing that the MPD connects to all 115, but does not seem to care that another entity is behind the MPD than Vril. Playing along with Maxis, he aids in an "initial" biological test on a dog with a teleporter, only to shove Maxis in pre-maturely, hoping to end him in front of a teary-eyed Samantha who runs into the operating teleporter after her father, only to be bonded to the MPD as her father dies before her. The Darkness now with a host, attempts to proceed with plan, but the rage-filled Samantha points its powers at all those responsible for her father's death.

The Giant is in France. And it no longer has a master to control it...

The Black Ops 2 Zombie Storyline is the constant battle between Maxis and Richtofen. As we all know, Maxis and Richtofen always have their different ways when it comes to experimenting. However, they were both trying to create a Super Solider. Richtofen brainwashed an American, Japanese, and a Russian. What about Maxis? What if Maxis created an ultimate weapon that was far beyond Richtofen's ability. What if Maxis created this Giant as a safety net to counter Richtofen's actions... his final plan. What if The Giant was used to bring back Samantha?

Chapter 5: Orgone Energy

Let's talk about Orgone Energy...

The machine is digging Orgone Energy out of the ground.

Orgone according to 'Wilhelm Reich' who discovered this energy, is a living substance that surrounds all of us. R. Wilhem Reich who was at the time studying the effects of a literal orgasm, based off his and Sigmound Frued's theories, accidentally discovered bions which self-illuminated, if our spectrum could physically see it, is Blue despite breaking all known rules of matter.

In our story, this energy is absorbed by the MPD (Moon Pyramid Device) and how its user can become Omnipresent and Omnipotent, as well as control the undead. The souls which we used to power the MPD during the steps of the Moon easter egg were the very Orgone of the Zombies killed nearby. A human corpse is merely an empty vessel and when filled with Orgone, will re-animate the carcass'. It is the energy that keeps a Zed moving without necessarliy requiring functioning organs. E. It is what drives them. It it stored within the brain, and runs through the neural pathways of the synapses.

When a zombie is killed, the Orgone within them is released. In the case of the MPD, the raw Orgone energy is used to power the MPD. Who, or rather whatever made the MPD had a strong understanding of Orgone. When a user is in the MPD, they gain a small control over all the Orgone in existence.

Orgone, is a healing energy. As we've noted, Orgones color as seen by our human spectrum is blue. What else is blue? The perk which allows you to revive people faster, or HEAL them. The Zombie's eyes are blue. The 'electric' storms in the Shangri-la loading screen. Most importantly, why is the mechanism digging the Orgone out? Surely this energy must be used to power something big...

This is a result of a reverse Orgone accumulator. Wait; What is firstly an 'Orgone Accumulator'? What is it made of? How does an Orgone Accumulator function? Have we seen one before? I'll stop there. Hints you say? Cosmic Orgone Energy. Reich's Cloudbuster technology. Re-animation. CONTROL. The power of the libido. The Avogadro chamber. The chamber in which The 4 were trapped in during Call of the Dead.

How is any of this relevant? Well, what if Richtofen wants to use this energy to re-animate the zombies into humans, so he could take control of the world. Afterall, a Zombie army is useless for Richtofen. The only reason why Maxis would want to get hold of this energy before Richtofen does, is so he can prevent that from happening. Maybe Maxis wants to use this energy for his own benefit. What if this energy was used to power The Giant?

Chapter 6: The Story So Far...

The missile launch leaves the Earth a post-apocalyptic crumbling wasteland littered with undead hordes and civilization begins to collapse. As survivors begin to band together to form small human communities and shelters to protect themselves from the now global-undead threat, Maxis realizes the failure of his original plans due to hasty calculations and begins contacting survivors to help him with his "Plan B"; to activate global polarization devices and ultimately overpower Richtofen by opening a gateway to the Aether via "the Rift."
Meanwhile, Marlton Johnson emerges as the sole survivor of the events in the nuclear test site and meets Abigail "Misty" Briarton, who travels with him to an abandoned town in Hanford where they find two more survivors, Russman and Samuel J. Stuhlinger, who have commandeered a robotic bus they have used for transport. There, the four survivors are contacted by Maxis, who reveals the town is a location of a polarization device required for his plans. At the same time, Richtofen contacts Samuel, who has previously eaten zombie flesh resulting in him being able to hear Edward in his head, instructing him to foil Maxis' plans by activating the tower in his favor, beginning a power struggle between the two. Depending on how the player has completed the Easter Eggs through the game, it will determine the course the story will take.

As the group are teleported to the crumbled city of Shanghai, China, they began realize that throughout the planet, very few survivors live in the ruins. In an abandoned building, the group is recontacted by Maxis, who intended to activate his second major polarization device via different steps and of their assistance. Meanwhile, on the other hand, Richtofen required the assistance of Samuel. As time flew, Samuel was gradually turning into a zombie, as revealed by his groans during the quest. Richtofen required the same goal as Maxis in his own manner and intended to protect it from him. Richtofen blackmails Samuel and threatens that if he does not obey, he will potentially tell the group about what he had done.

Once the second polarization device had been activated by either of the Germans, the group managed to escape the building they were trapped in. Eventually, Russman leads the group out of the crumbling city of Shanghai. A month later, the group arrives in Egypt where they are set to camp and rest for the night. The next day, they arrive at the"Rift" that they were supposed to mend. Once again they are contacted by Maxis, who once again required the assistance of the group to activate the last tower. Samuel, on the other hand, was given a third job by Richtofen; Samuel was told to prevent his allies from helping Maxis in a discrete manner, as the third tower appeared to be vital for his plans.

Outcome 1:
If the player decides to follow Maxis' Easter Eggs in all three maps and polarize the towers in his favor, a portal to the Aether will open and allow Maxis to become the controller of the zombies and the dimension's energies. He will then proceed with his plans to open Agartha (and in the process destroy the Earth and its surviving inhabitants) and reunite himself with his daughter, Samantha, after returning Richtofen to the physical world spawned as a blue-eyed zombie.

Outcome 2:
If the player decides to follow Richtofen's Easter Eggs in all three maps and polarize the towers in his favor, the Rift will be mended, eternally damning Samantha to Agartha and allowing Richtofen to retrieve full manipulation of the Aether's energies. With the Earth as his personal playground and Maxis to cease his very existence, Richtofen is now able to leave the Aether at will and uses the body of Samuel Stuhlinger as his physical host.

In either case, the four characters are trapped in Buried for the rest of eternity...

Chapter 7: The Race to The Rift

Ever since we've been completing Richtofen's and Maxis' quests... we have never fully understood what their intentions were...

There are 3 main Global Polarization Devices scattered around the globe.

What are they used for?

Depending who's side you choose, by linking all 3 Pylons, this power would allow Richtofen or Maxis to open the Rift. The primary use of the navcards and the NAVtables is to join all three radio masts in each map, this completes each separate side to the story.

There is the constant race between Richtofen and Maxis, who will reach the Rift first? The Rift is essentially a gateway to the Aether.

Whoever reaches the Rift first... will have complete control of the Aether.

Chapter 8: The Final Battle

Richtofen's Ending

An undead army is useless for Richtofen, he wants the fame and glory, and he wants more power. Could it be possible that Richtofen is returning to his body, because he has an alternative plan, in France? What if Richtofen had one last trick up his sleeve. These are the possible alternatives...

1. Richtofen will reverse time deleting Maxis' safety net

2. If time travel was impossible, Richtofen would use the Orgone Energy to turn all the zombies back to humans. Then return to the Aether and gain control of the world.

Before he begins his final plan, Richtofen needs to get rid of Maxis...

Maxis' Ending

I believe Maxis created the Giant in Der Riese, as his final safety net to counter Richtofen's final plan. Maxis knows about the Orgone energy, so it is a race to who gets to it first. The Orgone energy would be used to refuel The Giant, then use it to open the gates to Agartha so he can reunite with his daughter Samantha.

Chapter 9: The Original Characters

Benn has slipped this image in the end of one of his videos. This suggests that the old crew are returning...

Tank Dempsey

Chapter 10: The Tank

We now know that the map will feature of vehicle similar to the one from TranZit, but this time it will be a tank!

Just like in Mob of the Dead, you might have to build it part by part, and refuel it once in a while.

The Buildable Tank
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

The Schneider CA 1 (originally named the Schneider CA) was the first French tank.

The Schneider tank was inspired by the need to overcome the stalemate of trench warfare which on the Western Front prevailed during most of the Great War. It specifically had to open passages for the infantry through barbed wire and then to suppress German machine gun nests. After a first concept by Jacques Quellennec devised in November 1914, the type was developed from May 1915 onwards by engineer Eugne Brilli, paralleling British development of tanks the same year. Colonel Jean Baptiste Eugne Estienne in December 1915 began to urge for the formation of French armour units, leading to an order in February 1916 of four hundred Schneider CA tanks, which were manufactured bySOMUA, a subsidiary of Schneider located in a suburb of Paris, between September 1916 and August 1918.

The tank was of the "box" type, lacking a turret, with the main armament, a short 75 mm cannon, in the right side. Generally it is considered a very imperfect design, even for its day, because of a poor lay-out, insufficient fire-power, a cramped interior and inferior mobility due to an overhanging nose section. Improved designs were almost immediately initiated but the production of these, the Schneider CA 2, CA 3 and CA 4, was eventually cancelled.

The Schneider CA 1 tanks were widely used in combat during the last war years. Their first action on 16 April 1917 was largely a failure, the tank units suffering heavy losses, but subsequent engagements were more successful. In 1918 the Schneider tanks played an important rle in halting the German Spring Offensive and breaking the German front in the French summer offensives. They were active until the end of September 1918, less than two months before the Armistice of 11 November 1918, their numbers having dropped considerably due to attrition. After the war the surviving tanks were mostly rebuilt as utility vehicles but six Schneider tanks were deployed by Spain in the Rif War in Morocco, and the type saw its last action in the beginning of the Spanish Civil War.

Chapter 11: WW1 French Weaponry

In Mob of the Dead, we were introduced the Tommy Gun, because the weapon suited the theme of the map. We are going back in time again, so it is possible that we might encounter some World War 1 weapons, like bolt action rifles, pistols, and light machine guns.

Also during trench warfare, soldiers would plant machine gun turrets with a bi pod to fire at the opposing team. So it's possible the player could be able to mount the gun.

This actually makes a load of sense! It fits right in with everything.
Especially with the tank as the bus was in Tranzit. And i think it would be fun to build it like you have to build the plane and refuel it in Mob Of The Dead!

I just hope they put a great wonder weapon in & end it with a big bang like the awesome ending in Moon!

They better add PHD and Jug in the same game too!
