If you have the original Xbox model it's dangerous vertically. I tripped on my turtle beach cords and that thing smacked the floor. Probably 4 feet up. It worked like it always did before that.

The model is so tall and unstable. That's why I got the slim. and because my original disk drive got obliterated.

Horizontal because if it falls while a disc is in it the disc will be messed up.

Same that happened to me loads of times. it makes a circle go around the outer edge of the dsisc making it unreadable. i dont know what it is called but it sucks..

It's called the Ring of Death

i place it horizontal to prevent it falling over and breaking the disc in it because i broke like 3 gta 4 discs by knocking over my xbox when it was vertical

Horizontal that's the way I like it.

i place my xbox horizontally because i heard that if u put it vertically it can mess up your games twice as much if you move your xbox

Horizontal so it doesent fall over and discs dont fall out when i open it.
