No More Annoying 25-Digit Codes! Only Possible With Kinect!Posted:

Because of the advanced technology stored inside the Kinect, Xbox players will no longer have to redeem that annoying 25-Digit code that was found on the Microsoft Point cards as well as the Xbox Live Gold Subscription Cards.
The Kinect will scan and redeem the new QR codes in a matter of seconds.
This was only made possible because of a person on Reddit posting a GIF requesting that certain feature.

Then the Microsoft employee, Marc Whitten, saw the post and then confirmed this feature via Twitter.

This is great news! Not only do we not have to waste our time trying to redeem codes, but we know for sure that Microsoft is listening to our feedback and trying their best to make the best console possible for their consumers.

One of the first few features I've actually liked. Haha. I hated entering those stupid things.

just buy a 10 dollar used chatpad or usb keyboard people complain about the smallest thinks people just need to stop being lazy

We don't have to buy any chat pad or keyboard now, because its one of the many features in the new Kinect.
The only way to get BIG companies like Microsoft to change, is to complain. Yet, no one was complaining about the 25-digit codes. The guy on Reddit was just trying to add something more to the Kinect.

**** the the kinect thats the one reason im not getting the one because im not paying more for somthing im not gonna use cause i just dont want it untill they sell it without one im sticking with 360 and if they still dont sell without out it im going to pc gaming

Well if you don't want to buy the Xbox One then it is your decision and their is nothing I can do to convince you otherwise. However, some of the features in Kinect are pretty amazing and the fact that everyone is going to have one will mean that developers can actually implement in-game features without having to worry about a limited source of consumers who actually own the Kinect. Also some of the features already inside the Kinect are astonishing and show how much Microsoft is investing in it.
You might actually want it when more features are added and you are stuck with your old and out-dated Xbox 360.

By the way, PC gaming is known for being really expensive if you want a top-notch gaming rig. The Xbox One including the Kinect while only being $499 is a steal.
