When you think about it since the kinect always needs to be powered on, on the xbox one is it spying on us? For those who believe that they'll just turn it around or put something over it, think again. It'll supposibly give you an error saying please face the kinect towards the playing area. And it has two visions to decect the player. (Like heart rate) So if you put like a picture in front of it, it will detect its not human & give you another error!

Microsoft is a part of PRISM. Not saying they are going to spy, but that is something that needs to be taken note of.

I'v thought that since the Kinect first came out, and to be honest i would not be surprised if it did.
That device is the only thing stoppin me from getting an Xbox One.

If you also think about it. Not too long ago the iphone was secretly taking picture of you & sending them to apple. Is xbox secretly doing the same thing?

Microsoft affiliation in PRISM might mean that they will give all that data to the government

While it needs to be taken into consideration i don't believe that it is going to be true. I'm pretty sure i read an article about how the Kinect can be turned off.
If this is a lie then the current Kinect is just as likely to be spying on you right now..

They updated it 2 days ago. You don't need the Kinect to play and the Kinect is not spying on you anymore.
