(when my pc crashes i can be browsing the web, or playing crysis 3, it doesnt matter what im doing it is just random, this is what happened the 1st time the crashes occured and the second)
so my pc crashed a few times about 3 months ago, i took at guess it was the hdd after researching and i bought a new hdd and it fixed it, just recently i started experiencing crashes again, so as i have some old ram i put that in the system to see if that wsa causing it and it still crashed, then i put my old gpu and it lasted a whole lot longer than usual bt eventualy crashed, i have an older pc that i have just put my hdd in and im going to see if it crashes and if it does then i guess its the hdd if not then idk what.
the only things left are psu which i dont think can cause crashes, my motherboard and cpu...
and if it is my hdd again what could be causing it to "break" because surely im not unlucky enough to get 2 bad hdds in a row, could a sata cable or a bad sata port on my mobo cause this? PLEASE HELP
PC Specs:
i5 3570k at 3.8 ghz (with corsair h60 and low temps thats not causing crash)
gtx 660 3gb (not OC'ed)
8gb corsair vengeance 1600mhz ram (nto OC'ed)
corsair tx650m PSU
1 tb 7200rpm seagate barracuda
msi z77 g41 mobo
any other info you would like to know just ask.
Edit: i have had people confirm it isnt my psu, i have done multiple virus checks i have tried everything i can other than going out and buying a new motherboard and cpu which are the only things i havnt checked, PLEASE HELP

This happened to me with the exact same build but with a 7870, I later found out the my SATA cable had come loose, try that.

Buying a new PC is costly and pointless, He has a high end PC that has a small problem. No need for a new PC. And I don't think a virus can effect a PC in the early boot stages.

ill try a different sata cable in a different port.
thanks for the reply and to the other retard telling me to buy a new pc, you can buy me a pc if you want to and its not a virus, i know its not... i barely ever dl stuff that im not sure what it is, even like cracked software, my freind makes a patch and thats how i get it...had virus' before and im too careful now.

This sounds like a motherboard problem to me, especially if you're still crashing after switching out the different parts that might've caused this and it's still happening.
I would say if you still have a warranty on your motherboard, worst case scenario send it back and get a new one, this could be the issue.

I used to get this occasionally.
Question; Are you overclocked? This was an issue for me, my graphics card came pre-oc'd and my rig couldn't handle it due to the inferior cooling system I had in place at the time.
If so, clock it back to factory settings.
Sounds like a simple overheating issue but I may be wrong.

my gpu isnt oced and my cpu temps dont go above 60 and my gpu like 50 max...
