I have a Windows 7 PC with 8GB Ram and 1TB HDD. Quad Core AMD Processor and an ATI integrated graphics.

I know its not that good. But I should be getting more than 40FPS.

These are my Video Settings: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I don't lag but when I record with Fraps it goes down to 18 and I just can't play on that.

Anything that boosts this up will help

You need to turn off Vsync, that is always an issue and if you don't hit 60 fps it will put you at 30 or below if you can't handle 30.

That will give you a little increase and also look into optifine.

*Fraps is a huge load on everyones system because it has such huge files when you are recording, I would advice you to try something like Dxtory, MSI afterburner etc...

I'd recommend downloading Optifine 1.5.1 for you can have a performance boost.

Also, Set your render distance to "tiny" and disable VSync to increase your FPS. The higher the render distance it is, the more FPS it'll use.
