This is a coincidence, but my brother is listening to a YouTube video (one from KSIOlajidebt by the sound of it) and I'm pretty sure he mentioned a Poll, which asked people which they where buying and 80% said PS4?

A multi-billion dollar company is not going to loose it all just to spy on you... Playstation has no NATIVE backwards compatibility other than Gaikai that isnt even being released with the system. Its being release in 2014. I believe both systems have there benefits, but you are badly misinformed.
