I am new to patch making so, I have no clue why this is not working.
So when i am finished with my patch I put it on my hardrive. I boot up through xex menu, then I click system link, choose a map. Then in the loading screen it goes 3/4's of the way then quits and goes back to main menu. The error code says: script compile error bad syntax see console for details.
Thanks for helping

wrong. That would be 'sever disconnect' there will be something that is not compiled right within the patch. Check for syntax etc on FFViewer and totally check through your patch before putting it on your jtag

You need to check your coding and make sure all the actions are threaded properly. Bad syntax is due to no coding something correctly...

ya i found out i have to go to "tools" then "syntax checker" and it checks your codes automatically. Correct if i'm wrong.
