Okay so I'm trying to record games with my pvr 2. But I have a problem with the audio. The sound either goes to the pvr and if it does I can't hear it. But if I can hear it, the pvr isn't picking it up. Is there a way for the sound output to go go to the pvr and my headphones?
Using HDMI btw.

I had no idea you could use a PVR to record PC gameplay. If your having problems, why not just use Fraps? Much simpler.

Yeah I just figured out how to do it and recorded no problem. You need 2 monitors though.

Fraps puts a huge strain on your cpu, decreasing performance. With the hd pvr2 and other equivalents, it will put the strain of recording into its hardware while barely using the cpu of your pc.

Fraps isnt the only recorder out there.. Try DXtory, Bandicam or Action!. All 3 of those are great to record with.
