I'm looking at getting an RGH and I was wondering about the pros and cons of a slim rgh compared to other rgh's and jtag's.

Thanks in advance.

Both are great, the only difference is boot times, and if you get an RGH1 rather than a 2 or 3 then the boot times are not bad, and the RGH2 and 3 take a little more time to boot up. Jtags have instant boots though, just like retail consoles. But, RGH consoles for me tend to last longer than Jtags, except if its a Flacon or Jasper Jtag (In my opinion the best two out) and the only big advantage I see with the slim RGH consoles is they generally do not overheat. None of my consoles have ever overheated on me except my old Xenon Jtag, but those are extremely easy to fix. Honestly, it all depends on how much you're willing to spend and how much you're going to do with the console, if you're just hosting CoD lobbies get a Falcon or Jasper, if you're actually going to use the hack to its full potential (i.e. back up and play backed up games, run emulators, etc) then get the slim.
Sorry for the long drawn out explanation

Thank you for this!

I plan to use it for everything, including playing backed up games for a couple hours at a time. I'm hoping an RGH won't overheat if I do this, and that's probably why I'll get a slim RGH.

Boot times really aren't that much of a concern for me. So what if I have to wait 10 seconds for it to boot up?

Thanks again for this!

No problem! Always here to help
And yeah, boot times aren't really bad, its like 10 seconds sometimes even less and I don't see it as an issue at all, its just something to point out. Anyways, have fun with your soon to be slim RGH
