Since I've been a good boy I'm splitting half of my money with my dad so i need some good suggestions on a computer to get, if its cool I'd like some specifics e.g Manufacturer, comp specs, memory(ram), screen setting/width and height. I am looking for one about $800-$1,200AUD(Australian Dollar) that's an average of $976(Correct me if I'm wrong). I'm really looking forward to getting a new computer so it will be awesome for ideas and suggestions on what to get thanks guys <3

It really depends on what you're going to be using it for, if you're getting a laptop for gaming then there really isn't much point and a custom built desktop is obviously always going to be the superior option.
