So I got my computer around a year ago, and I got a blank white disk with it, no text on it, just blank. I've never put it into my computer because I just didn't know what it was, up until like 10 minutes ago. I'm now looking to build my own custom PC and was wondering if this white disk was actually a Windows installation disk, so I put the disk in, and it came up with the usual "Run setup" and "Open folder to view files", so I started looking around the files and came across this screen [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
But then it tells me in one of the text files stuff about only having the license for one user on one computer and all that, and I already have Windows 7 on my PC. So I decided to click on the "Run setup" and it comes up with this, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
If this is actually a Windows 7 installation disk it's going to save me some money on my PC build, could anyone shed some light on this, as I'm really confused.

If it was sold with one license, you'll be able to install it but after that it'll ask for a product key which it'll attempt to activate with Microsoft when it gets an internet connection.
