Puddle_Of_Mudd wrote This seems pretty well thought out Poison. Defiantly like it, I've tried a few times to make something similar to this in Visual Basic but never really got it working. Design seems basic for now but I'm sure you're improving it.

It is also nice to see that you can view it in a real time updater. Keep on working on it especially for the syntax highlighting. This is also most likely one of the best tools designed for this sort of job made on TTG.

Great job with it, also what language are you coding it in?

Yeah the design was just a base for the first version. And it's actually in vb.net, i started this program a while ago and i just now found it and started working on it again lol

It's a great start.

However, here are some suggestions:

1) I'm not sure if the program does this (Didn't download), but include a function that will end the tag automatically. So if i type <div id="something"> then it will automatically include </div>

2) Allow users to create projects with Folders. So once a user creates a project, then all of those files will go onto there.

3) Add more functions. Like have an insert tab on which would input tables, forms, etc... (Should be simple to implement)

But the program is good for BETA. Besides making adding some color to the tags, the rest will be adding setting. Which is just time consuming.

I'm working on all of these right now and i just completely redid the program. The new update i'm about to put up is still basic with the editor, but that's the next thing i'm going to work on in the upcoming updates. Thanks for the good feedback!

And dont forget to add quick links. Like Forms, Tables, Fonts, Inserts, Search, AND you have to put a HELP link in there. SO people will know what to do.

Perfect example of one of the bugs, i made this program in windows 8 and if this happens to anyone, right click on the file and click "properties". After that go to the compatibility tab and run the compatability troubleshooter so that the program will adjust to your version of winows
