Okay so about a week ago I purchased the hd radeon 7970 ghz edition, I have just recently heard the GTX 770 and 780 are going to be released at the end of this month !
Was it worth me buying this card ? will it still keep up with the next gen cards ?

It won't keep up with them because they are made with better hardware(most likely...hopefully) but that card is more than enough right now. If your spending $400 on a graphics card then don't be worried about performance.

I don't think anyone really knows what the new series will bring it might be more power efficient, who knows?
You have a really good card, don't worry about the performance increase in the next gen series it is going to be only slight in comparison to that card.

I came across this, does anyone know when these cards will launch?
