Its a glorified dlc that should have cost $20. Has about 40 hours worth of achievements and probably a little more in terms of playability. Alot shorter than the first with less replayability. The world is very small in comparison, havent played the original in a few months but I'd say all playable areas are about the same size, altogether, as the resort from act 1 of the first. Its deff just as fun and with new weapons, mods, and areas, it is an improvment in terms of gameplay.

First of all. Very very short main quest line, around 8Hours. Better gameplay than the first one but it doesn't interest me as much, main reason because it's a direct sequel and you already know everything about the characters etc.

The difficulties are very similar between each game, they both have unique levelling and progression compared to all the other games like Skyrim for a short comparison. Skyrim you level up and your foes don't because the difficultly alters how hard they are. On the other hand Dead Ialsnd's enemy strength is determined by the players base level.

All in all, GREAT GAME. It lives up to its expectations in my eyes.
