I know that the item ID for skeleton spawners is 52:51 52 for the monster spawner (34 HEX) and the 51 for the meta Data (Skeleton, zombie etc.). But i don't know the Hex for them together so that i can put it into a inv editor.

Any help is appreciated!

If what you trying to is change the ID of the spawners, well first off I didn't know this was possible on HxD, also you could search around the Internet for an answer to this because this is a new concept to most of the people that are viewing this. If you find a way to make this work in the future, please share

Hmmm i think i might of found the answer. I am using the invodify editor and i have cracked, mossy stone bricks in my inv with normal stone bricks aswell (mossy and cracked have a value of 98:1 and 98:2 etc.) and it seems that it saves the metadata on the damage value. i will keep looking into it and test 34 (spawner hex) and 51 on the damage (skeleton metadata)

I find this truly amazing how you can figure this type of stuff. Until now I never know you could change the ID of spawners, I always thought they could only spawn pigs. Keep up updated

Just done after having some problems with modio, now ising horizon. It just reset itself to a pig spawner, i am going to check if 51 is the right meta Data for skeleton spawners haha

EDIT: just read that what entity spawns from the mob spawner is stored in a titleEntity. Apparentely this is set after terrain generation and when you place a spawner it sets the titleEntity to pig. However on PC it is different because they introduced custom spawners in one of the recent patches. I will keep looking

EDIT 2: There must be a way as NEI in FTB can give the player skeleton spawners that work. i will keep trying

Monster spawners DO store the info of what mob in the Tile Entity. There are ways to change it on the PC but i will keep looking for 360!

Anyway if i do find out how to do this on 360 you could do any mob like ender dragon, giants (Massive Zombies) and any mob in the game.

MCedit should really support Xbox edition, then we would be able to change the spawners so easily!

I have been looking into how monster spawners store their data more and found this on the minecraft wiki's chunk format page:

I just need to find how to edit these properties for the 360

EDIT: I am going to give it a rest now and get some sleep. Not sure it is possible without using HxD with full depth. Wouldn't like to but will give it a shot tomorrow
