hi guys well i been wating for the jailbreak on my iphone to change the imei it is blocked

has any one got a working way on how to change it please?

It is doable, but it is illegal in many countries.

This is possible with a jailbreak. But your going to have to find it in cydia :nervous:

IMEI is hard coded (so not rewritable) on a chip, meaning it will be very hard to change.
It is possible to change though, but will require extensive programming skills and the use of external hardware (it is not possible via a jailbreak as far as I'm aware). You may also have to take the phone apart to access specific hardware parts.

As people have already posted, this is highly illegal and you can to prison for years aswell as huge fines if caught. Also you cannot simply change the IMEI to what you desire, you will need a valid IMEI (that will be recognised by the manufacture) (do not ask me how).

In addition there is only one reason I can think you want to change the IMEI, and that is because it is has been blocked as it is not your phone (in other words you stole it or found it). If it is has been blocked and its your phone, then you can simply ring your phone provider (e.g O2) up, and they will validate your details (to make sure the phone is yours), then remove it from a blacklist.
