I agree. I hate it because it just makes you seem like an attention whore. I've never seen a dude that has a gamertag like"Mr.GuyGamer" with the clan tag "Male". What's the point? I just tend to ignore them, along with every other gamer I meet hahaha.

Actually, you can extend this rant. Gamertags that also have things like "420" or anything else that pretty much begs for attention towards a private part of your lifestyle.

It is rather annoying when it's obvious they're craving attention. One of my friends from when I was still in school had "barbie" in her GT, and it was so obvious that it was attention seeking because she was like a tomboy, I don't think I'd ever seen her with or anywhere near anything to do with barbie, but yet it was right there in her GT.

You missed every single point of this thread. The attention being asked for here, isn't normal attention. You must be very young to not realize this.

The kind of attention is comparable to when people always talk about how something bad happened looking for a sympathetic response.

We understand having a girly gamertag, whatever.
But when everything is completely obvious, that's annoying. Gamertag is GamerGirl with clantag of [Miss]. Everything in the bio is how they are a girl and won't make you a sandwich. If a guy didn't something close to this, I would be saying the same thing.

Most of the people in this thread aren't sexist. Anyway, as far as the rest of your post, why would I even care about giving attention to a chick all the way across the continent? It's Xbox, it's meant to game not find your "soulmate".
