I would grab the 2 pistols in my closet and try to hold it down in my house for a couple days with my family. I probably have enough food here to last a week. same for ammo. During that week i would call friends and create a plan. Probably like you, i would go to my school, killing everything in my way. Zombie or Alive. And we could survive there for a while. I would then try to head South towards my cousing 90 acres of land

Let me explain why you would be dead. Don't you think everybody that panics would go to the grocery store to hold up, and if someone like me who is there to just murder you isn't there you will have to fight or divide for food leaving you with not enough to survive. The gun store would be cleaned out of guns and ammo before you even get there, or if you tried to go there you would be shot by someone holding up inside. I did the math because 75% of 8000 is definitely not 7500, it's 6000. As for the no laws, that applies more than anything you could possibly imagine. No one will follow the normal motor vehicle laws because that's not the best way to keep you alive. People will be going highway speeds on residential roads just to save their life and there will be mass car accidents because of this. The most unsafe way of travel in a zombie world is by car. You either are killed by an accident in hysteria, or when it calms down you just attract a **** ton of zombies because cars are loud as **** when there's no activity from a society anymore. The only circumstance where it would be ok is if you are going far and won't be in one area for more than a couple minutes.

-Why you're wrong about the Grocery store
You have no idea about where I live. We have multiple large grocery stores, like 5 or 6. The one closest to me is further from town, so less people would go there. I have enough friends to create a large enough group to be safe without having an issue with rationing food. As far as the gun store goes, it would be a priority. I have other options, but I would most likely just use makeshift tools or knives.

As far as the no laws, it actually doesn't apply much. Of course people would be traveling faster, but I live in the middle of no where. Not a lot of people around me, I would be safe until the highway which even then, would be easy to just watch before you go across the road. Attracting zombies isn't something to worry about, you just ram them and when barely any are near you, you run inside.

As far anyone in a highly populated area, what you said would apply. Not for me.

I would go to KFC
and get 2 possibly 3 chicken bucket's.. with gravy

then i would go to wal-mart buy 2 possibly 3 seasons of The Walking Dead.. with gravy

Then i would go up into my super secret Tree House.. That by the way has a 15 in. TV with a year 2001 DVR.. with gravy

if anywhere i would go high. as high as possible without having to cut out supplies. if your high enough zombies cant hear you so they cannot find you.

guns = bad idea in a small situation. if you have to much guns in your group someone at some point is going to get hurt... what i would stock up on?

hand held objects such as an axe or a knife. cant be to picky. big ones like huge sledge hammers are going to slow you down and decrease the amount of time you have to kill your infected group. always use small ones.

i think i would most use a hatchet as it is small, light and can be pretty deadly.
rather than a gun which only brings more attention. but who else feels like riding a combine harvester through a small group of zombies? would / might work perfectly.

I've always thought that I would stay inside but in reality, that would be a really bad idea, but outside would not be any better, but I would go to the store asap and get some guns !

I would board up my house immediately and wait it out for a few days until the chaos winds down. When the streets were clear enough i would gather up any family/friends i could and head to my old house with a loft upstairs. The only way up is a metal spiral staircase, i would unbolt it so that there was no way up there. There is one window in the upstairs loft that leads out onto the garage where i would have a rope ladder where i could go down as needed.
