Alright so i'm gonna buy my friend and I a 3ds after he fixed my xbox and I want to know if there is a big difference in the way it performs. I might buy him the 3ds xl because he installed more memory and installed all the halos and CoDs onto there, and I want to repay him for his birthday. I need help, and please don't say buy a PS Vita or "Name of other portable game system." Also please don't say he's too old for that shit because he's 18 and a good friend. Thanks.

The XL isn't really that much better. Go with the regular one

There's no huge price gap between the two, so for only around $30 extra you might as well get the XL.

Alright but I hear that there is a glossy finish on the 3ds and not on the xl and i'm a sucker for that. Also is the 3d the same or improved for the 3ds.
