Best Places and/or ways to Make Money
These are some of the best ways to make money, even with a little of XP



What to look for below
Green = Both Money Making & Training
Red = Money Making

There may be different methods that apply, if so, the methods will be divided up. If there is just one main method, there will be just an explanation.




Lumbridge Cows
Method 1
Killing Cows for the cowhide they drop

Method 2
Waiting for cowhides to appear on the ground from the non-looters

What you will be looting
  • Cowhides


P.S. Cows are good XP for only a short while


Fishing in Catherby
Fishing is a great source of money for almost any fish, that is if you have a good amount caught of that certain fish.

Fishing in Catherby is a great way to bank some fish, there is very many fishing spots located in Catherby with a variety of different catches. I would mainly try to fish lobster, and if you want, fish swordfish.

What you will be looting
  • Lobster
  • Swordfish


Flesh Crawlers
Flesh Crawlers are a great source of XP and loot, this is still commonly used as a method in EOC version of Runescape. Flesh Crawlers can be located in the 2nd Level of the Stronghold of Security.

What you will be looting
  • Nature & Cosmic Talisman
  • Nature Runes
  • Fire Runes
  • Iron Ore (NOTED)


Fire Giants
Fire Giants are the only thing I personally go to, that is because of the drops. Fire Giants are also a great source of XP.

What you will be looting
  • Rune Scimitars


Chaos Druids
Chaos Druids are another popular way of making money on Runescape. Chaos Druids are located directly on the other side of the Falador wall by the mining area and in the dungeon entrance.

What you will be looting
  • Any Herbs
  • UNIDS


Void Knight Rune Shop
This method does require to have around 10k starter cash to see big results.

This method is very, very, very good with money making. To get to this location go to Port Sarim and travel to Void Knight Outpost, This is a absolutely free trip. The rune shop is just located south of the outpost. In the shop, you buy the runes that the price is lower than what they are selling for at the Varrock West Bank (Auction Area).

What you will be looting
  • Rune of your choice


Mining Pure Essence
This is one of the originals!

You must have Rune Mysteries quest completed! After that, just go behind the Varrock East Bank and you will see a Rune Shop. Ask the guy to teleport you.

What you will be looting
  • Rune Essence


Flax & Bow Strings
Very useful method, tested my self many times.

What you will be doing is going to the flax farm in just below Seers Village and you will be picking full inventories of flax and banking in the Seers bank. After you have a good amount of flax, look in the houses right up from the flax farm and you will find a spinning wheel in the upstairs of one of the cottages.

What you will be looting
  • Flax
  • Bow Strings

fire giants aren't that great cash anymore, but that's how i made my first 300k, but if you have 50+ range from trying fire giants safe spot blue dragons and you make around 50-60k cash an hour

you should have nature running on there. you can easily make 250k+ an hour with rising nature prices.
