I'm thinking of buying a computer made by iBuypower and it is really good for the price but I've heard bad things from them. Can someone tell me if I should buy it and take a risk or just build a computer that is slightly worse but I will know that it's going to work.

It depends on what components the model you're buying has in it. For instance, the one you linked has a nameless PSU that cannot be trusted and as a result, this model is not reliable. It's also ridiculously overpriced.
