Hey guys. I just asked a question about overclocking but i'm doing a bunch of upgrades and i figured i would ask for your guys help for this.
I want to upgrade to an SSD. Well.. add an SSD to boot up my computer faster and load games quicker, etc... I have already put my windows 7 OS on my 7200rpm hard drive and i want to install windows 7 on my New SSD. How would i do that if the disk/code can only be downloaded/used once?
Thanks Again!!!

AvexArts wrote You can't. and if you're trying to do RAID, it has to be done before windows is installed on ANY Drive.
So your saying. If i got an SSD now, it would serve me no point other than loading games and programs like LoL faster???

If you have a Z77 motherboard, you can add an SSD that will be used as a cache with Intel SRT. It will automatically detect which files are used most often and put them on the SSD for quick access. It's perfect if you already have a non-transferrable installation of Windows on a mechanical drive. If you have a retail copy of Windows, you can transfer your code to a new installation, though. You cannot do that if you used an OEM copy.

SRT is ideal for low-capacity drives like this.
