Well I bought an Intensafire 3.0 Xbox 360 Controller Chip a few days back and today I decided to try and get it work. Well it didn't go as planned. I have tried more than 3 times now with the chip using their glue they provided and using my own soldering iron but none of that worked. The leds aren't showing up inside and the sync option isn't working. I don't know if it has any thing to do with the burn mark on the motherboard of it or that I got a faulty one. Any tips on how I could fix it would be appreciated.

you may have burnt your sink. The 'glue' that comes with the intensaFire sucks, period. You should stick with soldering.

Take the flex board out (The IntensaFire) and use rubbing alcohol and a Q-Tip to clean off all the glue.

Get a magnifying glass and look at your sync, see if there's any glue or solder connecting the terminal. If there is, it will need to be removed.

Take a picture and post it on imageshack so we can see what you've done.
