Ok I've seen alot of people asking about this so:

The reason you cannot Jtag a 9199 dash is quite complex, Now alot of people will tell you its because of the new dash, and that is only partly true, You see back when NXE was brought in,an E-fuse was blown, preventing the console from going back to its previous dashboard.

Now Im sure alot of you think you know what an E-fuse is but many dont, they are microscopic fueses contained inside the CPU, which would be near impossible to replace as the technology needed to replace these fuses would cost millions to make.

Now in order to Jtag a console you need to bring it back to a specific kernal (each MB type to their own exploitable kernal) So therefore untill there is a way to spoof the CPU into thinking the E-fuses are still intact, there will be no 9199 Jtag's.

But it is not all doom and gloom as with the release of a new dash comes a new slate to work off of, Im 99% sure all will stay the same but it could change Jtag's completely, or even create a loophole which every console could become Jtagable.

You Heard It Here 1st!
For those who think I copy'd and pasted this, Proof? I wrote this myself from knoledge I have of Jtaging consoles.

In reality you can jtag a 9199 console you use a timed attack or a Cygnos v2 chip. Both of those methods allow you to "backdate" the dashboard version. But unfortunately both of those methods are hard to use.

backdating the dashboard isnt the problem that occurs when jtagging a 9199. Its backdating the hardwear thats the problem. you know... the e-fuses...

Cygnos chips allow you to use 2 nands so I guess if you had a pre made nand with the old dashboard it could be done
