-$10 cheaper than Elgato
-Records in 1080p

Elgato-Simple Software
-Not as well known
-Records in 1080p

Which one is better I want to find out for Christmas

I Have An Elgato I Only Have It Because Its Small And Fits On My Desk Otherwise I Would Of Got An HDPVR

I'd go with the Elgato. It's proven to have slightly better quality. I wish you all the best with your decision, and also happy holidays.

I have a pvr and I have to say from experiences it has a lot of hassle, but it does get the job done. As for the elgato I have never used or heard of any reviews of it.

i would go with the PVR, More of a well known brand and cheaper
