Hey, I have been trying to record my xbox live party/game chat for various reasons with this setup:



I use audacity and this method works. But for some reason or another, some people, I don't know why, they come in loud and distorted. My question is do you know how to change the settings in audacity to help fix this or what to change to get the best recording quality possible?

If you know of a tut of how to use audacity in this way or close to this way, sending that my way will be greatly appreciated.

If you have a different way to record party/game chat on xbox live please let me know.
