To clear up some confusion Treyarch has stated that the "Double XP Weekend" will start on Friday, December 14th at 10AM (PST) and will last until 10AM on Monday, December 17th. This means that all players will have 72 hours to play at their best to get the most out of the weekend.
Also, competition have been started for Call of Duty Elite clans which means you will now be able to rank up your clan, which means that you will also be able to gain Double XP hours on Black Ops 2 from the ranking up of your clan.
If people would like to know the times in their specific time zones tell me in a reply your time zone and the country and/or state you live in and I will add it to the bottom of the topic.

Treyarch have no yet announced if the playlist "Nuketown 24/7" will be returning but if they do I will add it to the topic. It is not long until Double XP starts so you will be able to find out yourself in <2 Hours. TTG members have said on this topic that Treyarch will be putting in the "Nuketown 24/7" playlist whenever there is a special occasion, such as Double XP Weekend but that is awaiting confirmation.

They haven't announced if Nuketown 24/7 is going to be active while double exp is running. The exp starts on Friday at 10 A.M. Pacific Time.. So calculate what time it will start where you live.

Yes, the previous Double XP event started at the same times as this one will start.
