For everyone doing the prestige glitch it is very blatant that you have exploited a flaw. Which is written withing the Treyarch Code of Conduct that with repeated offenses (Exploiting the flaw more than once, gaining more than 1 prestige) then you will be permanently banned from the game.
Sure they will lose players but they have already purchased their game so they don't need them as much as new players, especially if that person bought the map pass since if that person did they can't even make any more money off of that person.
Ways they can tell you cheated:
-Not enough score per prestige
-Most recent games display a different rank
-Not enough kills/deaths to equate the XP received to prestige
-Not enough time played
-Not enough challenges completed to account for lack of score/kills
-Low placing on leader boards with high rank
-See how many pieces of equipment used, mainly to tell who is boosting
-Not enough matches played to earn enough XP
And many more reasons.
Have fun while it lasts everyone!
P.S. I have not created this post as an act of rage for not successfully accomplishing the glitch (RUINING THE GAME) as I have not attempted it since I have the dignity to make it to the Master Prestige legit with out take the path of least resistance other wise known as being a ****.

The only reason you made this thread is because you were unable to do the glitch. So you feel your only way to feel your empty hole of wanting it so bad is to tell everyone who did it that they'll be banned? No they won't. So why don't you just shut the **** up. <- felt like getting the message through better than saying stfu and for all I know you don't even know what acronyms are. **** you and have a nice day.

Well for the score/days played they can't tell because of the reset that happened a few days ago.

I just love how people think they are not going to be banned. If you read the terms of service and agreement for Treyarch, any glitching, hacking, modding is not tolerated and can perform a permanently account suspension or... 2 week ban.

Theres no way to tell if anyone will be banned because 2d+ timeplay is possible to be tenth prestige

I have been reset. But only to the prestige in which i glitched, i remained at level 55. You lose all progress from that point, including gun levels and challenges. You do not get banned nor fully reset. Hope this clears things up.
