Most of the things in there are unlikely and not backed up by anything. Anyway, if they are "mindless" then how would they know to go after humans for food?

Personally, I wouldn't see these as 'Zombies' because a characteristic of a Zombie is that it passes on its disease or parasite through bites, scratches etc... the only two which would do this theoretically would be Mad Cow and Rage virus.

Neurogenesis wouldn't be a large amount of people to start with, so if the military got involved quickly, It would be dealt with quite easily.

The only one that actually makes me think "well shxt..." is the Rage Virus.
