I am tired of going to threads in some of the sub-forums and finding post-boosting replies. Instead of actually replying to the original poster about the topic, they go ahead and point out the little grammatical errors the OP had made. Now, you can correct someones spelling/grammar if you also post a reply to the original question and or topic posted into the thread. I see many people just being rude to achieve a few virtual thumbs up and/or get your post count up, instead of being kind hearted. I'm not going to lie I have done the same thing, but I have changed. What some of you are posting is not helping the community achieve a common goal, unison. You're just being a low-life troll, if you can even be called that. May I also add, that there is something called the report button located at the bottom right of the OP's post, between the "thanks" and "+rep" buttons; [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Here are just a few examples of rude posts I have recently found. (Note: these replies were all in the same thread.) :

To answer your questions about if you're a low-life troll if you correct someone's grammar, you are not, I just put that in their if you correct their grammar and do not reply to the original topic, you instead go off-topic and and talk about their grammar in a rude fashion at times.

I find it hilarious that people care so much about post count and rep. Too bad to break it to them that it does not mean nothing and it has no value.
People can't be change unless they allow themselves to be changed.

with their poor attempt at what they call trolling.

Yeah, I noticed that know one was really stating their opinion about the people that do this sort of thing. Well, I think that most people just judge you upon your post count, etc... I can have 4k+ posts, but be a total douche to everyone and people that do not know my personality would see me as a great member. It is really just a popularity contest, it seems.

Well there is a lot of people who are "known" that have less 1000 posts.
Quality over quantity.
Edit: Guess some people do not agree with me on that one. I think having 5000 useless posts does not make you "better" than the person who has 500 posts that are not spam.
