It really grinds my gears when people judge others on TTG based off of joined date, amount of posts, etc. I mean, it's ok to judge that in some situations, but not if it affects you or anything. For example, if the user has 3 posts and is hosting a MW2 challenge lobby, it probably isn't legit. Let's be serious. But this other stuff grinds my gears:

People think gold is like a superior race on TTG, it isn't. All it means is that you either waste 6 bucks a month and don't care, or you "earned" it by doing something(s) or just being a good member. People can buy gold whenever they want, in fact, the sooner the better. There is no certain time you have to be a member on TTG to be able to buy gold. That's stupid. And why do people care if members buy gold the day they join? Are they bothering you? You just look jealous when you complain about new members getting gold early. And it's only the non-gold members who do that complaining, I often see topics about it in the rant.
And to gold members: You are not special, you do not have "rule" over members with a non-colored name. And please stop with all of the "I bought gold myself." mottos. It's $6. $6.
The "INJECTED MOISELFF WIT GOLD!!!111" mottos are kinda annoying too.
And we know you're a gold member by looking at the badge, we don't need to see it in your signature too. But ok.
And I'm not telling people what to put in there gold member features, I'm just pointing out that it looks dumb. It's like having two triggers on a gun. It's unnecessary.

i also hate it when some GOLD members do things like that, like if they join and made like 3 different post all the same just so people can download their stuff, then thats something different. We dont know if its a rat or something, all we know is that he joined a few days ago and made the same post over and over again, you know what i mean
It's like having two triggers on a gun. It's unnecessary.unless its a Grenade launcher attachment :trollin:

I totally agree, you see some posts were if a gold member had posted it, it would have had many replies but when its a non gold member no replies to be seen. Disgusts me

You should only gift gold if the member deserves it no matter how long they have been on the site for example.
Hosting a GFX shop with good work for every one but with being on the site only 3 days.

I know who that is in the image, and I don't like him. He may think he's badass because he's gold and has the MVC badge. I facepalmed when he said avoid because the member was only here a month.
I would rather avoid that him than avoid the guy who has been here a month just because of his attitude.

It really doesn't.
To the OP: I agree with everything that you said, people care too much about Gold on this site, when it really doesn't matter at all. Anyone with 6 dollars can buy Gold, which is pretty much everybody. However, that's the attitude of the forum. Being a Gold Member doesn't give you the right to act like you're better than the person who doesn't have Gold.
