Asus P8Z77-V LX
intel i5 3570k
nvidia gtx 660 ti
16gb ddr3 1600mhz corsair
1tb sata hard drive
Antec High Current Pro HCP-750
Arctic Freezer i30
Corsair Carbide 500R
Asus Xonar DX

altogether without an operating system it will cost 490, is this a good build for this price?

It's so mix matched.

MSI Z77 G43 / G45 is a superior board and happens to be $30 less.

660 ti is a good card but a 7950 is a superior card for the same price with the latest drivers.

16GB's of RAM is simply overkill. Grab a $30 kit of low profile G.Skill. More ram does not equal more better.

That cooler is not worth $50 when a Hyper 212 is $30 and is a lot more popular and consistent in reviews. For $50, the Havik 140 is a better buy.

Unless you're an audiophile, a sound card is not needed, more specifically a lower end one. A lot 'em are littered with driver bugs.

No, it's not a good build for the price.

Are you talking pounds? Because just that case, CPU and graphics card alone come to 490 pounds never mind the rest of the stuff
