So Im on the dash right before the newest one with the internet explorer add on and I want to keep my RGH up to date and learn how to do it.
So there are a few things holding me back from just following any old tutorial. One, the person who I bought my RGH from got paint on the sensors of the power button and eject button so when people say hit eject to boot into xell I cant do that, and that alone confuses me. I am not experienced at all with these things such as freeboot, xell, dealing with nand flashed and backups, and I just need some help on where to get started and how to do this. Another thing is I havent installed anything to my xbox like xell to boot into that or is it already built in because of the RGH itself, I really dont know but I need to learn. Anyone who can help me gets plus rep!

Wait, So you can't boot into Xell?

You don't need it to update your Dashboard btw, You just need a flashdmp.bin, Open XeBuild, open your flashdmp.bin in XeBuild, Select the Dashboard you want, Put in your CPU key (Download Dashlaunch and it'll tell you your CPU key if you cannot boot Xell), hit Create hacked image, Take the updflash.bin file it makes put it on a USB, Plug the USB into your xbox and flash it to your Console.

Done, PM me if you have any problems/questions.

A simple alternative to boot XeLL is to use (XeLL launch/ defualt.xex) Or Flash360.

In Both cases the image you are trying to write must be renamed to UPDFLASH.BIN and placed on the Root Of USB.
