Enjoy! Titled: Never buy off Eaby



When your strapped for cash, you go for the cheapest deals you can find. No matter where it is. My friend, Tim, and I had been searching around one night for the best deal on a used Macbook Air. (I was so poor that I had to go his house to use his computer, for I did not own one myself.) We did as any normal person would do who is looking for a deal on a laptop and went to, you guessed it, Ebay. The site every bargain hunter loves. We searched for what felt like hours, looking for something under $100. I knew it was a stretch, but I thought maybe someone would be selling a cracked screen Macbook Air or something.
After another hour of failed attempts, we decided we should search for a more underground, unknown website. One where the only way you could sell anything is by selling dirt cheap. Google was our friend on this one, giving us a list of over 100 different sites to try:

1. Ebay
2. Amazon
... and so on until we reached...
74. Eaby

I looked at the name and saw it was obviously just a meer attempt to rip off Ebay by switching the letters, but being curious broke college students, we went to the site anyways. Surprised at the deals, I finally found what I had been looking for, and it was better than expected. The title read
(USED) Macbook Air| Near Perfect Condition | No Battery Price: $80
I thought to myself "There must be something wrong with it aside from the battery." I read the description
Description: confiscated upon raid criminal's house, Identity of subject unknown. No evidence found from Laptop. $80 or best offer.
I thought to myself... Would this be unethical to buy? But I am broke... I typed in $80 and pressed bid.

A large smiley face and sound came up upon the winning of the auction. This scared the living shit out of me and Tim, but we just laughed it off.
Fast forward 1 week later
Emails sent to Tim from Steven's computer:

Sending this from my brand new Macbook Air! This thing runs perfect, only downside is it has to be plugged into the wall 24/7 or it will shut off since there is no battery. But never mind that, Ill get one eventually. Oh and I saw you at that part two nights ago bud, hooking up with Stacy. Props haha. Alright good luck on the rest of you're semester.

I was so relieved to finally have a computer, for many reasons. I searched through the programs to see if this Jeffery Kindley guy had left anything I could use, like for documents or powerpoint or something. That would save me a couple of bucks. I searched through all the files, until arriving upon a .png file called "Map". I thought to myself "The police said there wasnt any evidence on this computer... but what is this then?" I opened the file. It was a map of Kentucky, specifically Lexington, which was very close by, with 11 bold red circles in a very specific fashion. They said there was no evidence on here... It must be just a coincidence. I closed the window and unplugged the laptop, immediately turning it off. It was 1:30 am, time to get some sleep.
For an unknown reason, I had rampant insomnia that night. I looked at the clock, it read 3:00 am. I got up and decided to open the laptop again, work on a Bio paper I had due in 3 days. I walked around the corner to my desk, to my surprise the laptop was open, turned on to a blank screen. Originally I thought nothing of it, then I remember, It cannot run without the plug. I looked and saw it laying on the ground. This is spooky, I thought, but nevertheless I used it anyways. I went to search for my Bio paper that I originally named "11-10-2008 Bio Paper due". I did that with all my papers so I would never forget the due date. I typed in a 1 into Finder. Two result(s). First one being my paper, but the second one read 1383742.mov. Curiously I double clicked it, Quicktime promptly opened and I saw what looked like a first person view of a house, the camera slowly began to move. A hand opened the door slowly and swiftly, the camera's built-in light flashed upon the stairway of the house then immediately looked left, a family of 4 is tied up and mouths covered with duct tape. A mother, father, son (about 14 years old), and daughter (5 or 6 years old). They looked terrified, It is obviously seen that the father had attempt to put up a fight, for he had a bloody nose and a black eye. The man with the camera walked over to what was most likely the mother. I feared for I knew what was going to happen. The man sets the camera on a nearby table and aims it at the wife/mother. He grabs her by the hair and pulls a knife from his pocket. It had a serrated edge, large enough to be a small sword even. He begin sawing from the top of her forehead to the bottom of her chin. I cringe and cover my eyes, Muffled screams are heard from the family, the daughter crying loudest. The mother's blood curdling screams are muffled by the tape. He finally stops as the mother's face is unrecognizable, yet she is still alive. Not to make a situation seem the slightest bit comical, but It looked exactly how Harvey Dent's burned face from Batman...except this was real and her entire face. She was gasping for air, as blood poured into a small puddle on the floor. I had enough. I slammed the laptop shut, nearly smashing the screen. I didnt even care anymore. It was horrifying. It scarred me for life. Yet... I still opened the laptop back up, I had to tell Tim.

I have no words. I found a file. It is the most disturbing imagery I have ever seen. Come over now. I dont care if it's 4:00 am. This is important.


I showed Tim the video, he watched it alone for I could not look into the horrified eyes of that woman ever again. He looked at me and said. Did you watch it to the end?
I told him that I had not, I was too afraid. He told me to watch it, He left without saying a word after that. I watched and skipped through the 5 min of blackness that I had thought there was nothing. Then randomly came a face, I knew that face. It was Tim. he was looking into the camera, All that could be see was his face and upper torso. Then he panned the camera to show the entire family brutally murder, each in a different fashion. The daughter had been hung from the ceiling which i found most horrific. I could taste the vomit in my throat. I was only able to take one screen shot. It was of Tim's face right before the camera pan's, I haven't heard from Tim since then... If you see this man.
