There's proof that God is real. Look at the oldest galaxy in the universe. It's the one that we've found at the edge of the ever expanding universe. The shape that it makes is a cross. Also that cross is the exact same just smaller on every single cell in your body. Finally the actual ark that was made by Noah in the old testament was found but it was practically gone but remnants were found on a mountain. Only God knows when the world will end. Even if it does end on 12-21-12 I'm not scared because I am saved and secure. Most scientists actually are Christians because they can't find a reason we all are created. Even the big bang they say isn't enough. How could it have happened and how is it that precise to create life? It's almost impossible that we were made unless by something acting against it. Now try to explain to me other than just your thoughts that God is not real.

Sorry to get into a Religious debate but creationism is rejected by over 95% of all scientific institutions in the world.

You can argue that events in the Bible are true but you cannot prove that God exists just like I can't prove he doesn't.

See, I can't prove God doesn't exist, but I will argue my point if you are going to argue yours.

People in that time were ignorant and scared, Jesus Christ
himself was (If he even existed) reported to have actually been named Yeshua Ben Yosef, but was later renamed to Christ (Which means messiah) to fit the description of the son of God.

Mithra of the Pagan religion was essentially branded the same thing thousands of years before Christianity existed. And if you look at the Muslim religion, it has Muhammad who is also essentially the same person as Christ and Mithra, Mithra was actually born on December 25th, the same as Yeshua Ben Yosef, and I don't believe all of these similarities are a coincidence.

These religions are all variations on the same thing, now some people may say the similarities are due to all of the religions being connected by the same God in some sort of pseudo spiritual sense, but I believe some control freak men decided to adopt the same ideology with minor tweaks to suppress those who use critical thinking.

The bible discourages you from being greedy, but also discourages you from having envious thoughts, which is a contradiction. How are human beings supposed to better themselves if they are not allowed to want nor have. If I look at a rich man on the street and I am envious of his six gold chains and flashy suit, I am going to hell. If he has those things and doesn't blindly give them away, he is going to hell.

So basically unless we are impotent, ineffectual human beings with no emotion, we are going to hell. seems like the whole idea of the bible was to put people in their place and scare them into blind servitude.

And the idea that people could read this and think it is a fair trade is sad. I contend that we are all atheists. I think that the only difference between us is that we believe in one fewer god than one another. When society understand why the other religion dismisses all the other possible gods, they will understand why I dismiss every single one of theirs.
